Zebrafish embryo with intracerebral hemorrhage at 48 hours post fertilization. Exposure of zebrafish embryos to atorvastatin disrupts vascular stability and elicits hemorrhages in the brain. Hemorrhages are seen under a dissecting microscope as pooling of red blood cells within brain cavities. For more information, see paper by Eisa-Beygi and Rezaei pp. 119 in the current issue.
